Story-driven dungeon exploration may have you battling bosses, and afterwards you can take on guild missions such as rescuing lost Pokemon, fighting rogue Pokemon, or sending or retrieving items. Gameplay consists of exploring and clearing randomly-generated dungeons, each with its own set of pokemon, items, and traps. You play the story of a Pokemon that landed on a beach suffering with amnesia, and join with a fellow Pokemon to become a master exploration team while finding out who you are and why the land is being slowly destroyed. Like Platinum is to Pearl/Diamond, Explorers of Sky is the expanded version of PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness.
